Poor Boys - West Sacramento

The closure of poor boys is honestly so upsetting. My bf and I came here all the time and the sandwiches were off the chain. We still can’t get over the loss.

Found this little Gem by accident. I work in West Sac and needed a new spot for lunch. This place hit the spot!!! We ordered the shrimp po boy and the Reuben. Honestly, I can't tell you which one I liked better. Both were amazing, massive portions as well, so I had lunch for an extra day. I told everyone at the office, in fact, today may be a Poor Boys lunch day. The service was absolutely fantastic as well! I wish I could remember the name of our server, but really, all the staff seemed to enjoy being at work. I highly suggest you check this place out! Oh and don't sleep on the Buffalo fries! They're delicious.

Honestly it's the best food I've had in a long time. I have also don't eat meat and it was so good !!! I ordered the shrimp and crawfish sand ice with the shrimp and crawfish fries

Review for Vegan Food Only So I have ordered from them a couple of times. The first 2 times were amazing and then it took a down turn. I wanted to try their vegan sausage which is more expensive than their regular vegan mushroom po boy. When I say it was extremely salty, I pretty much threw the whole dam thing away. For $18 it should not be that way. It felt like the entire salt package was poured on the impossible meat. So then I call them and they offer me a new sandwich for free. I get it a few weeks later, back to my original mushroom and it was mediocre. I was highly disappointed and have not gone back since. I'm not sure who is cooking the vegan food but they either need to be retrained or fired. Why offer it if you are not going to make it right and edible. The sausage is literally inedible and the fries are usually cold. They barely put seasoning on the so called creole fries. Just horrible execution that you should not charge money for the food you produce. Just because it's vegan food does not mean we don't want it to taste good. When they change whoever is cooking and actually out some effort in the food tasting good then I will try them again. Until then it's a no for me on their vegan menu

Order was missing the chips and the sandwich did not have the ham or cheddar requested, and paid extra for.
