First time the pizza was still raw and the crust was burnt so not sure how they managed that. We also ordered two orders of their disco fries and they gave us potato skins instead. The second order we decided to give it another try. This time we got a wire string on weaved in our fries! It was super disgusting to see and we were too afraid to even attempt to eat the rest of the food! Definitely concerning that their was string/wire in food. TO MANAGER We did call the first time and we spoke to the manager! She stated they were refunding us the money and yet we never got the refund but still we tried again and gave the place another try! I also have the call logs showing we called and spoke to a manager! We did give it two tries and both times we wasted money since the food quality wasn't good and the orders were wrong. I think it's completely acceptable to leave reviews when the restaurant fails twice. Also this isn't tearing a restaurant down it's stating the fact about our order, would you rather us lie?
I don't know Frank. Im new to the area and haven't even been to the local in non covid times. Two things I do know: 1) Covid is probably an incredibly difficult time to start a business in food service and 2) This pizza is damn good. Greek salad was great too. You can tell good ingredients were used. Great brick oven crust. The pepperoni cupped a sign of real quality pepperoni. And the price is right. This is run out of the kitchen at the back of the local. Apparently there wan an old unused brick oven back there. The guy who took on this idea, making quality brick oven pie, with quality ingredients, with an old abandoned brick oven, has got to be a go getter and god dang it, I like that! More orders to come Frank!
Just ordered via grubhub. For some reason they have a very low GH ratings. Prices are good, delivery is basically instant (Saturday early evening and I live 1/2 mile away . Burger was excellent (it was cooked to medium-rare without any note attached, the way I think it should be enjoyed. For all of you “that thing is mooing!”, you may want to specify doneness in comments . Toppings were plentiful. Pizza was good, nothing to rave about, but will order again. I was hoping for a bit of a smoke on the crust (assuming “brick oven” also means “stoked” . Wings were excellent (I think their basic wing supply is much better quality , but “sauce on the side” note was ignored, no biggie. Honey mustard sauce is very mild, quite enjoyable.
We ordered the margherita and a meat lovers pizza. Both were quite tasty and the food arrived piping hot. We will certainly order again.
I recently tried Frank's Brick Oven for take out pizza and found it excellent. Do yourself a favor and order the Fenway pizza. In fact, order two. It's the bomb! This one has ground sausage and red peppers and is very tasty. The service was very fast and courteous, which I appreciated as well. There is a lot of competition and choices for pizza in Newton. I have to say I find Frank's Brick Oven one of the best, with great tasting pizza and with reasonable prices.
