Sweet P's Uptown Corner

My wife and I met friends here for dinner. It was our first time eating here. I had the pork plate with fries and cornbread and my wife had the half rack with coleslaw, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. The pork was tender and paired well with the bbq sauce; my fries were overly seasoned so I didn’t eat many of those due to this. My wife enjoyed her entire meal and will be a repeat customer for those items. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Overall it was a decent experience.

I go here occasionally with my golf group. Service is usually very good, food is OK, atmosphere is like a lunch place. Not my favorite place but I can recommend it.

The first time we went back after reopening we were really disappointed. It was their first night so we decided to wait a while before trying again.Yesterday's meal, service, atmosphere were all we could ask for. I had the ribs, Mac cheese, and slaw. Wife had the pulled pork, beans, and Mac cheese. Everything was excellent just like it used to be. ????
