After several visits to SJC, I think it's just... OK. Pros: the staff is usually very friendly and helpful, the space is nice enough, (though the music is often too loud), when the food is good, it's great! Cons: a bit pricey (considering everything), inconsistent food quality my bestie ordered a sandwich on our first visit that was so good he ordered it again on our third visit, only to get some odd (pre packaged, cold) roast beef and skimpy toppings, sides vary wildly in quality also, some servers are quite a bit more efficient and attentive than others, and depending on where you choose to sit, you may be frozen before you get your food. All in all, it's a **** shoot. Probably won't return.

Shame on us for not coming sooner. The tomato basil soup is fantastic, can't wait to try others. The panini's are also incredibly good. Such cool combinations of flavors. Kudos!!!

I wanted to say a big thank you to your staff today. I have been recovering from wisdom teeth surgery (in my 40s) for 2 weeks now. I was so sick of jello and mashed potatoes, so my husband recommended I look at your menu- I 've been craving chicken or tuna salad. I opted for your Jackie-O Trio, and when we ordered online, I asked if it would be possible to get a slice of soft bread to go with it in lieu of crackers since I still can 't have those or chips due to my surgery. When the delivery came, not only did I get the bread which was so nice, I got got this wonderful Get Well message on my food container. I was so touched, I teared up a little. This has been a very hard recovery for me, and it meant so much that you all were willing to substitute the bread, but the sweet note was just above and beyond. It was so nice to have some real, great tasting food that I could eat! My husband shared his tomato soup that came with your four cheese grill cheese as well. It was delicious! Thank you so much for taking the extra few minutes to be kind. It sincerely made my day!

A friend brought us here a few months ago for lunch, it was like we found a new home! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly when you walk in, the place is always clean. My husband and I have tried many different things on the menu and haven't found anything bad yet. The chicken salad has a sweet curry flavor without being overloaded with mayonnaise that is the reason it's often sold out by dinner time. The burger is great too. Really, everything from start to finish is top notch in this sandwich shop, if you're hungry, give them a try!
