Pica's West Chester - West Goshen

Despite the grumpy hostess, we like this place overall. The food is good, kid's entrees and ice cream are great, and the wait service is always nice. The only negative is the hostess. The other day we came in and I asked for a table for 4 with 2 kids menus. She snapped back 4 PLUS 2 kids or 4 including the kids? I explained 4 total and then she proceeds to take us to a tiny booth with other 2 top patrons sitting. I asked to sit at a larger booth when there were MANY open and it was a big deal for the hostess, she had to go check on reservations, and was not happy to do this. Meanwhile we have 2 toddlers, diaper bags, kid's toys, my husband is 6'5 and a small booth for 2 people is not ideal for our family. She accomodated our request and I noticed that NO other family of 4 were asked to sit in the small booths, so not sure why she was insistant that we did.Overall, we will come back b/c we like the food and wait staff just hoping the hostess was just having an off night.

Great food and wonderful service. Comfortable and open atmosphere. Definitely have to try their pizza. Highly recommended.

First time customer. Called ahead for take out and was happy my order was ready when I showed up 5 minutes early! The young lady who took my order (and rang me up had excellent customer service! The gentleman in the kitchen made my day by pointing out my chipper attitude! Happy to spread my cheerful attitude wonderful 10/10 experience!! Will definitely be back!!! (Oh and the pizza is DELICIOUS of course

The pizza was amazing, and we loved the fried peppers and mushroom caps. However, the tiramisu was served frozen. It wasn't creamy like it should be and we could feel ice crystals in it. Not at all good. The service was soooo slow! The meal came out quickly, but waiting for someone to take our order, and then waiting for someone to clear the table and order dessert took forever. It also took a long time for the dessert to show up. I definitely want this pizza again, but not sure if I will eat in or do takeout

Really nice Pica's! We went over the weekend to celebrate my brother's graduation. It's got a nice atmosphere. The food was great, and the portions are pretty big so we all ended up taking some home. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. I definitely recommend this place!
