Walkhampton Inn - West Devon

A beautiful, cozy place pub with a cozy atmosphere. excellent eating and local ales with a warm, friendly reception. definitiw would return to the future.

We are spoiled for the choice with some amazing pubs in the yelverton area. as an expat in the country, but my first in between when I come home, the walkhampton is inn. one of the most important things that this pub from others is the friendliness. the atmosphere is brilliant, and eating is always constant high. every time I come back, I know that a trip here is always brilliant. as an enthusiastic Ale-Drinker I also love the rotating fittings. every time they go there, there is a new local level to try! I'm happy to come back!

I had an amazing lunch today. The pheasant masala was incredible, better than any curry restaurant. The fish and chips the girls ordered were fantastic. A big shout out to the staff for a job well done!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. We dined here three times during our stay and enjoyed the very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The pies were outstanding and the skin-on fries were the best I've ever had. However, the chef could improve on the ice creams.

Recently stayed and had a great time. Food was consistently good pub food. A great selection of proper ales and ciders. Reasonably priced food and drink compared to the rip off prices here in Cornwall and i recommend the chilli dirty fries. An beautiful historic pub with a good beer garden with friendly staff just wished I lived closer.
