Mi Burrito Mexican Grill - West Chester

I 've been coming to Mi burrito for lunch 2-3 times a week for the past 4 years, even when they were in the other building behind skyline. I was upset that they were closed today and I had to go to a terrible cooperate owned burrito place instead. I feel bad I 've waited so long to write this review. The food is INCREDIBLE, its clear that everyone there cares about the company, and the people that run it are genuinely nice people. I would always ask my buddy if he wanted me to bring him back anything, and he would always say bring me back a big steak . obviously he 's joking because they wont just cook a steak for you. WRONG! I asked them one day if they would do it (in the middle of lunch rush mind you) and they were understandably confused because its an odd request. Well they did it anyway, charged me for the price of 2 extra steaks in their system. The joke came out to be like $5. I was so happy they did it, I put a $20 bill in their tip jar. Now I did this as a goof on my friend, it was funny. BUT whats better is that the steak was amazing. The irish pub down the street has a New York strip for $20. This steak from Mi Burrito was hands down better. The people that own this place should be proud.

Yummy! Fresh, flavorful goodness! My go to is the chicken bowl in one of those crunchy, delicious taco shell bowls. Every single component is excellent and builds to a great meal. So good!

I have seen thus olace but never gave it a thought, until now. It was very pleasing to be greeted so wonderfully and given a tour (tasting) of all the meats and salsas. I really enjoyed the barbacoa meat. My burrito really hit the spot and was delicious, and I will be back for my barbacoa.

Guys you need to visit this incredible, authentic restaurant. The owner is very friendly, everything homemade. Sauces, meats, everything was so so good. Think of it as a chipotle style service but with real Mexican food, so much better quality. You can tell he makes all of the food with such pride. I will be eating here several times a week I can tell you that. Please go try it!

Setup just like chipotle. Large portion compared to what I have received from Chipotle. Chicken and steak had more flavor than chipotle but the rice was just okay. I asked for the medium sauce and the heat was just right. I will definitely go back.
