Mac's Place - West Branch

Their French fries are amazing, and their prices are great. I have a cheeseburger with all attachments, a bowl of apple sauce and pommes. It came with a pickle spear. 10/10 best burgers I had all year round. tomatoes, leaf salad, onions, cucumbers, noodles of various spices. It was great. My mother also loved her pommes, but her chicken sandwich was less than ideal. It was a chicken breast in a Hamburg bungalow with salad dressing and salad. It was bland and slimy. Definitely my whole time favorite restaurant. The food is always good, and crazy fast, cheap, $2.99 for a breakfast w/ 2 eggs, hashbrowns and thick toast! and service is excellent! The owners are ingenious and always talk to their guests so that everyone feels welcome! I eat there almost every day, and would never give my $2.99 a day to another restaurant as long as I'm in West Branch! Seriously, best food you can get for the money! It's like a little old diner, with fast service, and you don't have to spend $20.00 per person!

Love loves Mac's Place. I've never had a bad meal there in over 20 years. You're not hungry. The food comes from light to be ready! It's like an old time mother and pop place. Nothing nice. I feel great when I go in there because the blankets are low. Great waiting staff, too.

Had a second trip after a bad first experience a few years ago and I was satisfied. The server was friendly and the food service was amazingly fast. The food was good and the coffee is hot. Great place for breakfast. I have to try for lunch next time!

Seemed a little short staffed, but the servers hustle. Food always comes out fast. Prices have increased like everywhere else, but food has the same mom and pop style look and taste, that is hard to find elsewhere. Breakfast available any time. I recommended the Texas toast.
