Umbria Gourmet Pizzeria

First time dining in; have always done delivery or pick-up before. The pizza is fantastic! Never had a bad pizza here. The dine-in experience, on the other hand, was a disaster. No other guests were there when we arrived. When I was ready to order (after studying the menu), I told the guy manning the register and he said go ahead . I start giving him my order, and then noticed he 's entering a completely different order. He gets done with that and I give him the order again. Have to repeat myself a couple of times, but finally everything is right. Tell him we 're going to sit on the patio outside, he says No problem, we 'll bring it to you . 40 minutes pass, during which time we watch 6 other people show up to pick up take out orders. Then the guy who took our order comes out and asks what we ordered. Looks puzzled, and mutters, Oh, I think that 's done . People who came and sat down 10 minutes after us get the same treatment about 5 minutes later. After 15 more minutes they go in to check what happened, and come out to tell us that they are remaking our orders, because something happened to them. So 1 strike for waiting 40 minutes to figure out we haven 't gotten our food, and then not telling us what 's going on after the finally remembered we 'd ordered. Strike 2 for not offering any compensation for making us wait over an hour to get our food, WHILE PEOPLE WHO CAME FOR DINE IN AFTER US GOT SERVED, ATE, AND LEFT! Strike 3 for not even offering an apology when we finally did get our food. Great pizza, but you 're better off doing delivery. Don 't dine in, you 'll lose your appetite before you ever get your food.

Place was dirty. Told us they mopped daily but very sticky. Napkins not refilled. Bathroom missing towels. Overcharged. Water dispenser had black particles. Had to ask twice for ice. Cheese pizza and garlic bread were good. Chicken fajita pizza came with no meat. We received an apology. We would have ordered the special but employee didn’t know there was one.

Friendly staff! And a variety of food options. The tacos are my favorite!

Best pizza in Bloomington! Service is always great. Hate to get pizza from anywhere

After placing my order I was told 15 minutes. 30 minutes later 3 other people had ordered and been served and they finally brought out part of my order. It was wrong, but close enough and I was hungry. They then asked to confirm the rest of my order, clearly not having made it. By the time that came out I was pushing close to when I'd have go back to work. The calazone I ordered was barely warm in the middle and not all the cheese was melted. I was unable to find a worker and didn't have time to wait for a replacement anyways. Very disappointing.
