It's no surprise that this place is always bustling - the food and service are fantastic! I enjoyed the delicious Eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and tasty hollandaise sauce. It's also a great spot for people-watching.
The Swiss gourmet Deli has sold the Portuguese Custard-Tarts (Pastal de natas) and other Portuguese sweets, all made on the grounds for over 30 years, they have chosen prices for this product the best Portuguese Custard-Tart in Queensland I have tasted... Portugiesen Custard carpets from a few shops in Brisbane and I can honestly say they don't come where close as delicious as the Swiss gourmet deli's, so do yourself a favor and go to 181 border St West end and try them themselves let your taste buds be the judges
A superb little deli cafe in West End. Great coffee, and simple, delicious food for breakfast and lunch. A great little providore and excellent value. Outdoor seating.
We were looking specifically for Portuguese Custard Tarts and there they were. Fantastic. Also a great range of Portuguese cheese and Quince Marmalade. They also have a great range of food from all over the place. Thus will become a regular stop for us now...for our international foods.
