Handlebar Hank's Roadhouse - Welland

I have dined at Handlebar Hanks before and always enjoyed the great food and service. However, when we decided to order takeout for the first time today, we were very disappointed. We ordered an extra large pizza with 4 toppings and 20 hot wings, but the pizza had very few toppings and barely any sauce underneath the cheese. The wings were also dry, as if they had been cooked and reheated. The total bill came to over $50, so we expected better quality. Sadly, we will not be ordering takeout from here again.

We stopped in Welland for a bite to eat before heading to an axe throwing league in Niagara Falls. Both my boyfriend and I love the chicken souvlaki pita from Hanks, but I am trying to reduce my carb intake. He ordered his with fries as usual, while I opted for mine with a salad and no pita. It was exactly what I wanted - it looked good, tasted good, and best of all, there was no issue with my special request. We left satisfied and happy customers.

The food and service at this restaurant are always top-notch. While it can get a bit busy and loud at times, it only adds to the lively atmosphere.

If you want a spot where the locals go for pie wings, go here. We usually go about once a month for some awesome bad for you comfort food. This place isn’t your upscale pub where you are going to get a cocktail plated dinner. You will get moderately ice cold beer and baskets of goodness. Might I add, the scenery is always bumping, surprising amount of young people past 10pm the servers are on fleek.

My wife and I went here for a lunch and totally enjoyed our service and our meal. It has a quaint Roadhouse atmosphere with lots of Tv's to watch sporting events and they also have a pool table for those who are inclined to have a game. The food was really well done and the house made chips with dip are very good.
