Mexicali Cantina Grill - Webster

I placed two orders of tacos for takeout. The order was ready on time, and pickup was easy. Tacos were good, with all toppings and condiments nicely packaged. The portions were a little small in my opinion, but otherwise no complaints.

Asked for chicken burrito bowl without corn, found corn mixed. Service was slow. Will have to think twice before trying again. Dietary restrictions: Special request for no corn was not honored.

I ordered pork tacos al pastor and the pork were little microwaved rubber balls that tasted funky, rice was dry and the beans were hard

Promptly walked right back out with our disabled sensory daughter. The music was so loud I dk t know how you are supposed to enjoy your food. Lol

Good luck getting a table here on Fri or Sat between 5-7! The place is always jam-packed. But the good thing is, you don't have to wait a terribly long time for a table to open, and there is always a spot at the bar. They also do a pretty decent delivery business through various app based services. It also looks like the patio dining is just about ready to open as well. The food is incredibly fresh, with guacamole and salsa made fresh as you wait. There are plenty of options available for anyone who is hesitant to try an authentic Mexican eatery. Try it once, and you will keep coming back. Happy Eating!
