Yangaz Bistro Grill - Waverley

Our son and daughter-in-law brought us to this restaurant for a late breakfast. The food and service were top-notch, but the standout was definitely the quality of the coffee. Both my wife and I ordered black Americanos, while they opted for decaffeinated. We all agreed that it was some of the best coffee we've had in the USA - strong and flavorful. Not the usual bland coffee that is often passed off as high quality. Highly recommend trying it out!

The food was fantastic and the coffee was great. The other items on the menu also looked delicious. The restaurant is a spacious independent cafe with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, although it can get quite busy.

Always a warm welcome form you will receive the family-run caffe in the heart of the village. the breakfast is excellent

Visited on the of July for lunch on a recommendation. The restaurants very attractive with ample seating. The waitress was accommodating and friendly and we were seated outside. As it was table service it took a little longer to order than expected and we...had to get the waitress attention to do so. We ordered a healthy wrap, jacket potato and pasta with tomato sauce and cheese from the children’s menu. The food took a little longer to be served than expected but the restaurant was busy. Unfortunately when it arrived, the children’s pasta was boiling hot and served without children’s cutlery, the cheese was missing and had to ask for it to be provided. The worst part of of the lunch was finding long piece of human hair in my lunch, as I nearly choked on it. I was able to get the waitress attention and complained, I can assume it was the manager who I then spoke to as she didn’t introduce herself, made a passing comment about the fact, asked if I would like anything else, offered to comp us drinks, to which I told her I would not be paying for the meal, which she then took and left sheepishly. There was no further customer contact or attempt at service recovery we basically were just left by the staff and walked off. As it had been recommended I thought it would have been an enjoyable experience, unfortunately, I found it an extremely disappointing experience.

Excellent food and service very busy. As we can only eat outside Umbrellas are So important in the sun. Please Please Please buy some umbrellas for the season , no one likes sitting in the full sun to eat and we all need our skin...protected
