The employees were very welcoming and the service was excellent. The fry bread topped with apples for dessert was fantastic. However, the Flame Thrower burger did not live up to expectations, as it had only moderate heat. On the other hand, the beer battered french fries were delicious. My wife and daughter found their burgers to be a bit greasy.

A group of 15 of us visited this restaurant a few Saturdays ago, and they were able to seat us all together. We all ordered burgers and were very satisfied with our meals. Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. We also tried the Sliders, NDN Taco, Roadhouse, and Southern Belle dishes, all of which were delicious. The fries and onion rings were also tasty. The service was friendly, and we definitely plan on returning in the future!

The burgers at this restaurant are all sourced from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board website. The dining area is simple and has an excessive number of TV screens. The staff seems more interested in their tablets than the customers. The food is overpriced and prepared by inexperienced employees. The bathrooms are very small. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The fry bread was overly sweet, resembling more of a funnel cake than a taco.

The Burger Pit in Waukon is definitely one of the best burger places I have ever been to. I have visited four times and have always been impressed. The variety of burgers is amazing, each one bursting with delicious flavors that all work well together. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you receive. If you find yourself in Waukon and want a fantastic dining experience with tasty food and excellent service, definitely check out the Burger Pit. You won't be disappointed!

Oh my goodness! The burgers at this restaurant are the best I have ever had. None of the well-known fast food or high-end food chains can compare to what I experienced here! The crinkle cut fries were incredibly fresh, crispy, and served at just the right temperature. The beer-battered fries had a perfect balance of batter and potato. I also tried a strawberry M&M milkshake and I must admit, I will definitely be returning for another one. I am from Davenport, IA and cannot find food this good near me. I absolutely loved it! Thank you IHOF so much!
