Super Pollo - Washington DC

As soon as I stepped in, I couldn't help but sway to the lively Spanish music. Now, back to the food—it was quite tasty! I ordered the chicken saltado with fries. While the chicken was a bit dry, the oil at the bottom of the plate helped to balance it out nicely.

While it may not be the best Peruvian-style chicken I've ever tasted, it was still quite impressive. The skin was crispy and well-seasoned, and the chicken itself was very moist. The rice was tasty, and the fried yucca stayed crispy even 20 minutes after I picked it up. The place is small but clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for the area. If you find yourself in Dupont and are looking for a good meal, I recommend giving Super Pollo a shot.

One of the best value options in DuPont Circle, I've visited this restaurant twice in the past week and I think I'll be coming back regularly. The chicken is juicy and buttery, and the rice is truly exceptional (adding extra chicken to the rice was a fantastic choice that really boosts the flavor). The fried plantains are a bit tough and not as hot and soft as I like them, but they are still delicious.

The chicken is a DELIGTH I would like to say the same for the sautéed beef tenderloin but no, the rice is fabulous. keeping the flavor of those chickens is FABULOUS. It was a good experience to eat half a chicken with a little barbecue sauce. Delight

Good place and the quality seems to be great, I have taken chicken kabob which was little under cooked but would go there again as they just starting up....... good luck guys
