Sala Thai - Washington DC

Sala Thai is one of my favorite spots for happy hour. It's a popular choice among locals and government workers due to its potent drinks and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious!

The food was fantastic! The drinks were excellent—affordable and served in generous portions. The customer service was exceptionally friendly and well-informed about the entire menu. I have no complaints at all!

If you're ordering from this restaurant through Uber and it’s taking longer than anticipated, please keep a few things in mind: 1) the staff is quite rude and does not acknowledge customers, 2) the food is prepared slowly and it seems that the speed of service is influenced by how customers look. I observed a woman who appeared similar to me waiting for her order, which only added to my frustration. If your driver is not male or Caucasian, you can expect even longer wait times. It feels as though even members of the LGBTQ community have a better chance of being served promptly than I have. I'm really sorry to say this, but I tried to give this place a fair chance!

Fried rice with chicken m, kapok chicken brown sauce and white rice. No sauce with fried rice. Approximately 15 lunch combos available with 2 small meatless spring rolls and drink. Parking hard to find. Will revisit.

Cute lil small bar, always good music and a DJ on Thursdays be lit. The food is really good and the drinks are strong (be careful) great happy hour spot for sure.
