This is one of my favorite bars to go to. Their happy hour menu is great for people who love cocktails and mixed type of drinks. Their happy hour food menu is pretty good as well. Their happy hour menu changes every few months I believe. I always get their pizza, even though it's pretty plain, but it's really good and tastes almost homemade. The bartenders are very nice and accommodating as well. Definitely reccomend.
The rooftop bar was an experience within itself and the weather was perfect. The bartender was quite pleasant, the music was great and I was able to watch my college football (extra cool points). The inside has a nice vintage look. We sat at the bar because the tables are set up for larger groups. My only issue was I was charged way more than I actually approved and it took a few days to correct. Overall I enjoyed my visit and just will take cash on my next visit.
A Weekend Brunch is a must when traveling to DC and no other city does it quite like DC maybe New York but it's alot cheaper here. $27 gets you bottomless Mimosas and that includes 1 entree Afghan style food and it's delicious. I had the meatballs on this visit and also the pizza. You can never go wrong with the breakfast pizza it's very big and sharable with maybe one other person. The atmosphere is better on the second floor. Has a rooftop vibe light and airy. Are bartender Eric never let our drinks get empty. My favorite Mimosas was the cranberry followed by the Bellini. They're made strong as well so no worries about it being watered down. If your in DC give this place a try. Then try Ozio's for the day party.
Bottomless brunch is always a great time here. The spicy lamb sausage and eggs is a favorite of mine. They handle big groups very well. The magician was definitely an unexpected plus.
