Capitol Cider House - Washington DC

Crisp, tasty cider, poured by a friendly and knowledgeable staff working there. Awesome space as well. Really enjoyed the blackberry sage mosaic cider. Everything I had was good. They make great stuff!

Pretty good local cider option. They have a large variety on tap, and I would recommend getting a flight or two your first time to try the ones that look most appealing to you. Some of the ciders run too sweet for my taste and others are overly floral to the point they taste like a cleaning product. The majority we tried were neutral to good. The neighborhood is interesting, and we got harassed on the way in and out, despite getting there as soon as they opened.

Best cider ever! So many different flavors, super unique! Great service and best place for friends gathering and table games. Love the loft design and colors! They also have comedy stand ups, music nights and tasting classes. Real cider adventure. Cheers!

Best cider spot in DC! You should visit.Can ownership please have some paper menus though? Enough with the darn QR codes menus on phones please (especially for the cider flights, that’s just annoying).

To start I had a bad experience for me. You will probably not have a bad experience for you.Ciders were pretty good. They take a lot of care in making their products and they are unique. None of the drinks were bad. I'm not a huge cider fan but I can appreciate.The staff was very nice. Some of the lines were a bit slow but nothing that really turned me off.Where this place fails for me is in the food department. The website says they have food. While this is true, the food is a series of frozen snacks that are highly overpriced. I would not plan on eating here again. For me this equates to a bad experience. I have a high daily caloric need and when I don't eat bad things happen to me. I don't fault the establishment for not taking care of my needs, I should have planned better. What would have been nice was a menu of the food offerings online.I will likely not be returning unless a group of friends suggests going here. It's not a bad place, it's just not appealing to me.
