Wheelchair accessibility: With the help of another person to hold the door

Been eating here my entire life. Now live in Ohio and when I come back the first place I go is here for a beef Manhattan!!

The restaurant is outdated, and the restroom smells like urine... like a subway. I am not sure it has ever been cleaned. The food is consistent, but they are always out of something when I go. This last time, it was containers. The server was willing to put food that would make other food soggy in one take-out dish. Staff is not as friendly as in the past. I have been going to MCL for over 30 years, the experience is just not the same. Kid-friendliness: Mcl removed their kids special. Meals can get pricey quickly.

We have eaten here for many years, recently, we have noticed a good change in the food quality (for the last three years,it's not been great). The turkey stuffing (even last fall) had way too much sage we got way too small portions.Same day last fall, the Roast beef Manhattan I had to BEG to get a decent portion (server was a jerk),, recently gave you guys another chance,was totally wonderful! We had another Roast Beef Manhattan, Stuffed Chicken,was fantastic.Another day recently,I bought 2 sloppy joes to go,,was way too bitter, oh well,we love most changes, thank you,Teresa Puckett ps- we live in Shelbyville now,I drive the 34 miles just to get MCL for my family,,the kids meals are always fantastic!! Vegetarian options: All the vegetables are fresh,tasty, appealing Kid-friendliness: My grandchildren LOVE when I take them to MCL, it's a kid friendly restaurant,everyone working was nice to my kids,thank you Wheelchair accessibility: I've taken my friends,one who is in a wheelchair,AND when I was on crutches,, I easily was able to get through restaurant EXCEPT for the Front doors,,they are hard for me now, I have bad arthritis.

Absolutely love MCL!!!I just moved in to a house very close by and they have been wonderful to me!Get some blue jello!
