Tomatina - Walnut Creek

Good food, friendly staff with excellent service! Their pasta dishes are tasty! Price is reasonable especially in the downtown Walnut Creek area. I highly recommend this place for family and friends lunch and dinner. Keep up the great work!

We’ve ate here during Covid so that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Today, we returned and sat and then left without ordering. QR menus are not terrible but ordering on my phone for everything is. I asked the owner what size the pizzas were and he pointed at another table to view them so questions were not welcomed clearly. Eliminating waitstaff for costs I get but this was and phone ordering is annoying unless it’s fast food.

Food is great but why have servers or tip when everything can be done through the tomatina app then you almost feel obligated to give them a tip even though all they did was run your food to the table also they are are not even friendly at all and seem like they are working there forcefully they don’t even check on you or anything is almost like you went to a robot restaurant which takes away the whole dining experience which is shameful cuz their food is very good.
