Despite some negative reviews, we chose to eat in the bar, off the bar menu . The place was very quiet but the meal was excellent, We both went for the lamb shank, which was beautifully cooked with a nice selection of fresh vegetables on the side. Pleasantly suprised. Breakfast buffet also very good.
Check inn at 15 and then they need to clean the room at 9:00 day after. Only 18 hours stay on the room!
An overall good stay. It’s an amazing location and a charming hotel. However, it needs some updating. The 3 course meals that were included were ok but a little underwhelming. It’s still a solid 4 star experience and the staff was very helpful and friendly. A beautiful town to explore with the train station to Oslo 30 seconds walk away.
Very nice hotel with the feeling to stay in 18th century. The staff is extra ordinary friendly and helpful. I stayed just one night, but I feld totally relaxed and enjoyed. I can fully recommend the hotel for all kind of travelers.
