Baby Izakaya - Virginia Beach

Such a cool experience. The food here is fantastic. Great small plates to share with a group of people. Try to sit outside if you can because the atmosphere at night is amazing with the music they have playing. Service was great and knowledgeable when it came to all of the dishes. Cocktail and wine list was top notch.

One of the best dining experiences at the beach. The entrance makes you feel like you're walking down a Japanese alley and opens up to this awesome garden-like outdoor patio. We got two seats inside where we could watch the cooks do their magic. The food was to die for, everything melted in your mouth and was better than we could have imagined. Greg was beyond attentive, a great conversationalist and really completed our experience. 10/10 recommend!

Loved it!! Very exciting fusion of flavors, clean both at inside and outdoor dining spaces, and great customer service! This was my fist time having sashimi...and it was good! Went with some friends and we tried fried oysters, cheese nuggets, tiramisu, and a few other items. All delicious ????. Can?t wait to go back!

Wish I got to try indoor seating but it's totally understandable w covid and everything. Other than that, service was great! Our server kept checking up on us and being our first time we got free apps! Everything was delicious and their outdoor seating area is cute! Definitely coming back to try the rest of their food.

By far the greatest hidden gem of Virginia Beach. Completely open kitchen. Every single thing you order is cooked fresh and put right in front of you. They don?t even have a warmer, which is unheard of these days. Extremely friendly staff and excellent service. Very reminiscent of DC ramen spots.
