Great portion for the price but the falafel was not good it had a weird texture and undercooked
Edit——— The Roslyn location stinks. The soda machine is flat, the service is lacking (I walked in and the staff members were just standing talking with each other, so I waited until one finally called me over 2 mins later). The staff here are lazy, they don’t even mix the dressing into the lettuce, like the Bayside location does. This is the old review Good food, amazing portions, and clean. You can’t go wrong eating here.
Wasn’t very hesitant to try this place but so glad I did. Staff were very nice and the food was absolutely delicious. I wish they had more of these where I
I have been a loyal Wild Fig customer since they opened their first restaurant in Glen Cove about 20 years ago. I also dined in their restaurant in Garden City. Both were excellent!I started going to this Wild Fig “express” in Roslyn more frequently during the pandemic and when the Glen Cove restaurant closed. The quality of Wild Fig’s food and service has steadily gone down hill since 2022. The greens tend to be wilted, the chick peas undercooked, the meat and falafel and topper portions have gotten smaller. BUT THEIR PRICES HAVE INCREASED! The salad toppers used to have flavor but now they’re bland and flavorless. With respect to service, frequent errors—such as omitting toppers, pita breads, dressings—have been made on my orders. When I’ve called Wild Fig to inform them, their answer is essentially “Come back today and we’ll fix it.” As if this were easy! I told the last Wild Fig employee I spoke to that it's the restaurant’s responsibility to avoid errors, and if they make a mistake, they should correct it without inconveniencing the customer. Considering these issues, I'm doubtful about returning to Wild Fig anytime soon, if at all.
