It was empty, Perusing the outside menu, we thought we would give it a go . A very pleasant gentlemen ushered us to a table. My wife and I felt a little sorry for him alone in a fairly large restaurant. The starters were Chicken and Potato Pakoras slices of thick potato and chicken covered in thick dry batter.no seasoning . The mains arrived Chicken Korma tasteless tepid and a sparse amount of meat, my meal a simple chicken curry and rice, tasteless. Tough chicken and a greasy brown sauce with neither flavour or spice. I had also ordered a potato dish which I took away in a container untouched. Normally I would have refused topay for such utter rubbish but my wife and I felt so sorry for the elderly man who served us we could not do it. This was a truly awful place to eat.
We visit this restaurant on Christmas eve because it was open what was quite exceptional. We were not disappointed. Traditionaly started with papadums and 3 different dips we continued with chicken tikka masala, a green salad and garlic naan bread. For drink a lassi natural and mango. The service was attentive and friendly, English spoken.
We have been here a couple of times over the last few months and the food is really good quality and reasonably priced. The main waiter is always very friendly too. We live in Seville and this is way better than any curry we can ever find there! Could well be on a level with curries found back in England. Would definitely recommend it!
Not the best Indian I have had but if you are missing some spice it will do.There is a Plate of the Day as well as other choices. Menu available in English. The wine is Indian. They also kebabs which is a bit weird a combination. Restaurant is clean and prices are not bad
Food is good. People nice. Great to have something next to all the regular meat fish and fries ; . I don't understand why the television is on shouting football but that seems to be normal in Portugal. Rather just have music. :
