We had a variety of dishes that we picked and all were delicious. Fresh and hot, as the take out was very busy on Thursday night meaning that there was a good turnover on the food. The server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very basic in décor but personally I couldn't care less as long as there's a place to sit well depending on the type of food , it's clean which Young's is and it has good food. Would go there again when in town visiting.
Service: 5/5 Really friendly service Food: 3/5 Nothing amazing, but good for the price Value: 5/5 Good value for portion size Time: 5/5 Ordered takeout on the way home and was already ready when I got there. Overall: Nice modest spot for inexpensive Chinese food, definitely one of my favourite affordable Chinese places when I’m in Victoria.
The service was very good, this was our first visit and we enjoyed the experience. I was disappointed that we could not get wine with our meal, but that is a minor issue. The war wonton was awesome.
You know when you try a restaurant and then after trying it the foods not that good and you won?t go back to that restaurant for a very long time? you?re open to trying a lot more restaurants before you?ll ever go back -even if you?ve never tried thembefore? ?.This is one of those places. Stopped eating before I was full because of the taste of the food
We ordered from Young?s for the first time and found it to be quite disappointing. The vegetable chow mein was a good portion but flavourless. The mushroom fried rice was too small and again flavourless. The sweet and sour pork was soggy. The SzechuanTofu had good texture with good size vegetables but again flavourless. The egg rolls had a good crisp and good in size only tofind them empty with little bit of celery and meat. The vegetable chop suey was a mix of frozen and fresh veggies and not yourtypical chop suey. The best we ordered would be the kung pau chicken which had a nice flavour. Overall it was a flavourless andexpensive meal and we would not try it again.
