The Country Rose - Victoria

I had the special. A Super Bowl Cheeseburger. The flavours were complex but simple. Sweet and salty. Breaded bacon. Perfect beef. Did I find the Lord and Saviour in a sandwich? I may have. You gotta eat here.

We went there for lunch with the kids and grandkids. We were well looked after, usually kids are not really welcomed in a pub, but they made us welcome. We had a nice lunch and some drinks. We will definitely go back the next time we are in town.

Had truly wonderful Mac and Cheese at the Rose. Wonderful old pub! This was called the Country Rose back in the day.

The food was big surprise. It was amazing. Big Surprise after a long motorcycle ride. Pub is near our home and big surprise at quality of food and big back yard for lazy time after bicycle ride.
