Maude Hunter's Pub - Victoria

Great pub with good food and affordable drinks. They run trivia and bingo nights, too.Make sure to make it out for wing night!

Lovely place with a super cozy and inviting atmosphere, a nice patio, and cheap cocktails. The food was totally acceptable pub food but at its price point, a little underwhelming. Get the mango cocktail, it's fire.

I love it here. The staff is super friendly, but in a genuine way. The food is surprisingly good for a pub, and I mean that with respect, and the price is arguably the cheapest in Victoria? I love eating here, I love drinking here, I love coming for trivia nights. I’m just glad I live close by so I can come often, such a great place

Maude Hunters has been one of my top 10 pubs in Victoria for years. Close to the University on Shelbourne they have great pub grub and a very nice homey atmosphere. I have been going to Maude Hunter's for over 30 years and today was my first negative experience. It is true I am not a regular, but in the past I would go 2 or 3 times a week. I have been out of the country for a few years and I was very happy to return to Maude's for a beer and some pub grub with my daughters. Mostly empty place when we arrived at 4 p.m. we waited almost 10 minutes to be seated, then another 10 minutes for a drink menu. 20 minutes into the service, 2 beers arrive, my 3rd person arrives and another 5 minutes for her to get a drink. Lots of servers, some regulars that come every day and get looked after immediately. I did mention my disappointment but was told everyone here is a regular. I guess I just don't belong at Maude's any more. What a shame. If you go everyday its great, otherwise, give it a pass.

In Victoria, everyone knows Maude's Pub. Great food, beer is cheaper than almost anywhere. Service is decent. Good Vibe.
