Chateau Victoria Suites

Front desk staff was top notch, especially since bachlorette groups are alot, we appreciated all of you! Beautiful hotel and beautiful views from vista 18 where we enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet. In such close proximity to everything downtown it was easy to walk to most outings. We did have the shuttle driver Jesse drive us to one of our locations, he was definitely one of our favorite employees! Look forward to coming back on my next Victoria trip.

I'll definitely stay here again. The room was spotless, the building is quiet, the lounge has good service and selection and the hotel is ideally situated close to Victoria Harbour. The décor and furnishings in the rooms are definitely from a bygone era but everything, and I mean everything, is in fantastic condition and very, very clean. It's almost as though it's been in a time capsule and I loved it.

Spotlessly clean, impeccably maintained and ideally located the Chateau Victoria offers generously sized accommodations at a reasonable price. What's not to love? The hotel would do well to hire a stylist and give her $1000 per room to provide some flair. Style and flair are the missing elements. Staff are great.

Great location in downtown Victoria with easy walk to the harbour sites and amenities. Restaurant has great views. Delicious breakfast. Updated rooms and amenities. Pool is clean and bright. Friendly staff to round out a great experience.

This review deserves a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. Having stayed at hotels across over 10 countries, ranging from 3 to 5 stars, I can confidently say the customer service here is truly 5-star quality. The front desk staff, maintenance crew, and housekeepers were all eager to assist and ensure a pleasant experience for their guests. James, in particular, was exceptionally knowledgeable in his role and made me feel completely at ease throughout my stay, as did the rest of the staff. This kind of atmosphere demonstrates that management genuinely values and respects their team, enabling the staff to convey that positive attitude to the guests. I highly recommend this hotel's customer service to anyone considering a stay here. A simple greeting each time guests come and go goes a long way in creating a welcoming environment. The only suggestion I would offer for improvement is to update the lighting and paint colors in the second-floor hallway to make it feel brighter and more inviting. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff for an excellent experience, and I will certainly stay here again when I return to town.
