328 Tap House - Victoria

First time visit to this pub but won’t be the last. We were staying at the Holiday Inn next door who gave us a voucher for a free beer so went for dinner there as well. The catch to the free beer is that of the 80 types of beer on tap only two qualify for the free voucher. No problem. The free beer was also very good. As noted the selection of beers and ales was outstanding with 80 on tap. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and arrived quickly and hot. An excellent spot for a drink and meal.

There were at least 30 of us and, fortunately, they had us in a somewhat separate area of the restaurant as we were very noisy. The food selection was amazing and very tasty. We had pre-arranged a variety of food to be delivered to our tables on a regular basis. There were items to accommodate all types of diet restrictions. It all tasted great and I will be going again just for the honey-garlic wings.

This place has a decent selection of Appetizers on the menu as well as Pizza and Pasta. They are somewhat limited on “hand held” items such as Sandwiches and Burgers. I ordered a Classic Cheeseburger. It came with a choice of Soup, Salad or Fries. I chose soup. The Burger came with a slightly toasted Bun, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Burger Sauce, Processed Cheese slice and Pickle. The Burger was a fair size. It tasted good and was filling. The Soup was a Butter-squash Soup and was fairly basic, but tasted ok. My only complaint, would be that if any pub or restaurant is charging upwards of $17 for a Burger, they should be using a slice of real cheese, not a processed Cheese slice. It cheapens the taste and lessens the quality of the Burger. Apart from that, my meal was good. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

One of the best pizzas ever…everyone enjoyed it. Loved the whiskey smoked ham on the Hawaiian and pepperoni excellent too. Great service!

Nice beer list with some solid food. parking is somewhat hidden behind the place. Don't drink and drive!
