Red Onion Eatery - Vero Beach

One of our favorites! Great sandwiches! Yeah, a little more expensive, but you? What do you expect? The grouper Reuben is huge and almost two meals. We eat here several times when we re in town because the food is great!

The thing that stands out from Red Onion from any other place is the owner proud that the food is always the same as it has been since its opening. Means that 20 years ago, it will cost the same today, and be as you remember it. That wasn't the case yesterday. I came in and ordered my favorite phlycole steak sandwich, which is cooked in a marinade USUALLY. it was not so prepared, and when I drew it to the servers, I was told they didn't cook it anymore, and the other one told me that it was cooked in this way, and then I explained that I was there earlier cook and I know it was definitely not. The chips were cold and soggy. I took a bite of the sandwich and gave it back and kindly asked for a refund to which the server with me got an immediate tone. My sandwich with chips and a bottle of water was over $20, and I'm sorry, but if I blame myself for fine dining services. I expect everything to taste so, and the service fits. It was definitely none of these things

Empty at dinner. Bad service. Sandwich soda was $17 not printed price. 15 min for 1 sandwich that was insensitive. Basil on Bruschetta might have chopped 1 sheet. Not returned or recommended

Red Onion has the best staff and good food. If they are busy, you might have to wait a bit, but you need to know that you don't order food quickly. All good is made to order. Be patient and you will be a wonderful experience as we have every time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. 5 stars every time.

Took 55 minutes before we decided to check on our food. Cashier said that the cook just started preparing our order. We asked for a refund and the cashier was friendly and obliged on the refund but the unstable cook was very angry and began throwing stuff around the kitchen and acting like a complete crazy person. I understand that places are short staffed but waiting over an hour for a couple sandwiches seems excessive especially since we placed the order around 2:15PM, not exactly during the lunch rush. Anyway, won?t be visiting again after the crazy cook made us feel super uncomfortable.
