Trattoria Accademia - VERCELLI

Simple and chilled out destination for a typical old school trattoria. The entrance and seating is bit weirdo through a bar, where locals are chilling play cards, watching football as the restaurant is behind it. While getting through to the restaurant you also pass through the back area of the kitchen. The restaurant is like a large dining hall with simple table seating and simple old run down interior. The portion size are large and served family style in platters. This place is a cool hangout for young crowd after late evening drinks as the place is open late until 11pm. The pasta dish especially the one with Mussels is their speciality and I absolutely loved the fried Seafood platter (Fritto De Mare).

Simple family trattoria. Almost like a un a movie. Entrance is through a bar, where locals play cards, watch football .. the restaurant is behind .. pretty large .. food is from south Italy.. excellent quality.. especially all fish related .. quantities are gargantuan.. a gem! I’ll be back !!

Non lasciarti ingannare dall'ingresso. Appena entrerai troverai un delizioso ristorante con personale cordiale e cucina spettacolare. Il punto di forza è proprio la cucina. Non lasciarti tentare dalla pizza, che anche se buona, non è allo stesso livello dei piatti della cucina.
