The restaurant is large and clean. They also catered an event for school and the food was fantastic, fresh and the homemade dressing and salsas were so so good!
Love, love,love this place!! The Chile verde is fantastic and the pickled onions are to die for!!! Restuarant and restroom very clean, and the staff is very nice. You will often find the owner, trained chef!!, check out all of the newspapers on the wall, of whom he has cooked with and for!! Cooking, taking orders and cleaning tables. Great family dining, run by the Ortiz family!!
Best carnitas in Ventura! Rice and beans are also top notch. I don't understand when a Mexican restaurant doesn't have awesome beans and rice. You can tell they really have their recipes down as everything I've tried here has been exceptional.
Had low expectations due to the empty ambiance but the food was amazing! Great burrito! Definitely would recommend!
These burritos are the best. A truly authentic place that hasn't been ruined by hipsters yet. Keep this place a secret because it is worth it. Best on the ave.
