The Soda Fountain Of Venice

6-23-2024 Went tonight on a Sunday. Online it showed they were closed. Posted hours on their door show d closing at 7:30. I got there before 7:00 pm. I sat at the bar over 10 minutes and was never acknowledged, spoken to or asked if I wanted something to drink or if I knew what I wanted to order. I finally got up and left thinking of all the times I have gone here especially over the last 2 years living down the street and no service was very disappointing. I will never let anyone know to come here or will personally never come back. YOU SUCK! 1 star rating only because I couldn't post no star rating!

Service is not good. My pizza was burned on the bottom. When I told the waitress, she said it didn't looked burned to her.

Observed 10 small flying insects in soda room by front counter landing on glassware, 10 small flying insects at hand wash sink at front counter, 8 small flying insects on soda gun at front counter, 15 small flying insects on peanut butter cup topping at front ice cream counter. High Priority Stop sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. Observed small flying insects landing on 1/6 pans of cookie bites, brownie bites, Reese's bites at front counter. Met inspection standards.

It has been on my bucket list for 30 years to get a piece of pizza from here. The oldest, smallest pizza shop in Venice. Well today was the day! My son and I walked up town to have an adventure and as we walked past a family came out carrying a pizza box... In we went. We sat at the counter and relaxed and watched the most beautiful wait staff rock out orders while singing along to classic rock. Dena, Heather and Fred. Made my day! Great cheese, NY style pie! We will be back!

Had a great lunch here, sat at the bar, the guy behind the bar was very friendly and nice. The wings were delish, then I had the veggie wrap with a side of the homemade chips yum everything was perfect. Would be back again! They also have old fashion milk shakes which looked amazing!! :
