Harvey's - Vaughan

The Harvey's at this location has closed and has been replaced by a diet restaurant. Fortunately, there is a Wendy's across the street and a Pizzaville in the plaza, as well as Subway and Pronto Cafe nearby.

I ordered a large double cheeseburger, a big order of French fries with gravy, and a shake. After a long, hot day, this meal hit the spot. The staff was friendly, the tables were clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained.

The staff at the service counter were not very welcoming or friendly. It took at least 10 minutes to order a hamburger, as the staff were moving slowly. The kitchen also seemed to be operating at a slow pace. The fries I received were stale and lukewarm, so I had to send them back. It seemed like they had been sitting under a warming light for too long. The combo meal came with a chocolate milkshake upgrade, which was the best part of the meal. I also ordered a side of gravy that tasted like it was made with artificial chemicals.

Service counter ladies . . . . non smiling and non friendly. Line up, order you hamburger to order and stand there for at least 10 minutes as the staff slowly go about their business. Kitchen slow on responding.
