During the week there is an excellent buffet bar with a large selection for starters. This is followed by the plat du jour (no choice, but they will usually cook you an excellent steak-done to your liking if you don't like the meal of the day). Then comes the cheese board (a good varied selection) and your choice from the dessert cabinet or ice cream. As is normally the case in france, there is ample, crusty bread with the meal and a quarter carafe of red or rosé wine per person. Coffee is taken in the adjoining bar at the end of the meal. On saturdays there is no buffet, just a simple starter, otherwise the same format.The staff are friendly and efficient and very welcoming.
