Herb's Restaurant - Vankleek Hill

This is probably one of the best places for breakfast that I have every been to. They offer a bottomless cup of coffee that is hot and strong! The menu has options for everyone including gluten free, vegetarian, etc. The staff is well seasoned and pleasant. Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.

I was shocked at how down to earth this place is, it's a convenience store, gift shop, and a restaurant all in one. We had a great meal in the restaurant, the staff are great and they actually have clean uniforms, not just worn out yoga pants and some ripped sloppy top. I was very happy our food arrived fast and hot and their desserts are to die for.

A popular local spot and stop for travelers between Montreal and Ottawa. We usually order sandwich style food from the menu but this time tried the pizza. It was great. Vegetarian pizza with very fresh tasting veggies and even the cheese tasted fresh. Try it.

This is literally the only place to stop between Toronto and Ottawa and we were glad we did! Clean restaurant with great service and amenities. We had the poutine and it was fantastic. Diner food and a large menu to choose from! The store also has local cheeses and even a hair salon. I would come here again even if it weren't the only stop!

Large, comfortable restaurant, with panoramic view of the airstrip and countryside. The service was fast and friendly and our breakfasts were tasty, with good-sized portions at a reasonable price. Easy to get to and a short distance off the TransCanada Highway.
