The Ellis - Vancouver

When we arrived at 6:30pm, the restaurant was relatively quiet, but more people started to come in. The food was good and reasonably priced, and our server was friendly.

We made reservations to have dinner at The Ellis after a show. None of us had been there before, but we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and lively atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent and the food was fantastic. Some of us ordered full meals like ribs and cornish hen, while others had appetizers such as roasted cauliflower and chicken wings. Everything was delicious. It was one of our party member's birthday and our waitress kindly brought out a plate of beignets for all of us to enjoy as a treat. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening. The prices were also very reasonable. We would definitely recommend The Ellis to others.

I had a great experience at The Ellis! The mojito was the best I've had all summer. The grilled octopus was delicious, and my partner really enjoyed the bison burger. The gnocchi was the only disappointment - there weren't enough pieces and there was too much dry edamame. Overall, I would definitely go back!

Asked for the bill and it never came. Eventually had to go to the bar to pay.

Really enjoyed our meal. Nice variety of items on the menu. Service was great. Only downside ....they were out of some food options ribs and several wine choices on the menu even though reservation was at on a Saturday
