Very friendly service. One thing about it is the rock hard chairs, so you better bring a cushion. Also, they do not have dim sum carts, so don't end up waiting for them.
I love this place. I discovered it when I moved in the south Vancouver area. We were craving dim sum and wanted to try a place nearby. Discovered Lucky Dragon Palace on Victoria. This place is a hidden gem! Small place, with some wait time but well worth it. We even came back a few more times and brought the family. Mom loved it too. Very good quality and tasty dim sum, the portions are really good. The beef fried rice was massive and flavourful. Best part besides the food is that everything is not overpriced : Reminds me that we still have to come back and try the other dishes next time. Highly recommend this place!
Came here on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but we were seated right away. I was with my friend and I let her choose the tea and she chose chrysanthemum. I never had it before but it was pretty good. Service was good in refilling the water for tea. <br/ <br/ We had the beef tendon and tripe, eggplant with shrimp, pork and veggie bun, and rice flour rolls with beef. Everything came out pretty fast. I don't normally eat rice flour rolls, but these ones were good. The eggplant with shrimp was flavourful and the eggplant pieces were quite large. <br/ <br/ Overall, the food here is definitely worth the price. Large portions and tastes good. This is some solid dim sum. I'd come back with more people so I can try out more dishes!<br/
Made a reservation for 7 people at 5pm. Arrived at 5:02pm. Lights were off when we stepped inside, it was completely empty. Lady with dyed red hair seemed pissed off we existed, but food was good. Big portions. Very good value for money. Every other staff member was very nice. Deduct 0.5 for the mean lady. Otherwise 5/5.
This place deserves a good rating. Not much on the outside but man the food is great here, however service is ****. Cantonese mainly, the dim sum and dinner is great here. They take debit and credit which is nice if you don't have cash. They got WiFi too. Food is cheap and tasty. They open very early for dimsum, I recommend the beef rice rolls, bean curd rolls, fried egg plant with shrimp paste. Parking is a bit of a challenge but worth it. Really good really frugal. You get your money's worth if your on budget.<br/ <br/ Update: March 27 2016.<br/ <br/ My girlfriend took my family out for dinner here tonight. We were pleased with the food and value you get. We got the 4 combo that gives you a free entree plate of hainese chicken, half portion, which is a total of 5 plates. Their half portion is very big. It also comes with their big bowl of soup of the day, and dessert. Excellent value for $58 before tax. Unfortunately the service isn't that great for dinner, management issue, gentlemen with glasses at counter. When we asked them if the kitchen forgot our chicken the service staff said it's coming. They were eating their meals infront of us like we never asked. It took a total of ten minutes for them to bring it out. It is what is it, can't expect much at places like this. I'm going to bump the rating down from 4 to 3.5 because of the service staff and leadership issue.<br/ <br/ 5/5 for self service LOL<br/ <br/
