Our first time going to a Korean BBQ restaurant. Had read good things about Kook and a referral from a fellow foodie. Did NOT disappoint. Our waiter, Tommy, walked us through the Korean BBQ style. Loved everything about the experience. Can’t wait to go again.
Marinated meat was super salty for kids but meat was so fresh! Kimchi soup was a bit sweet compare to the taste of traditional kimchi soup. It’s good place for Young people and men who enjoying drinking Korean soju But I don’t want recommend to family who has kids.
The food is consistently good. The service is consistently AMAZING! We have always received the BEST service at Kook and really appreciate how friendly m, personable and accommodating they are. Thank you Kook staff!
Amazing value for what you get. The $160 combo for 4 came with more than enough meat for 4 people. Also includes a soup (I suggest the $1 upgrade to the kimchi jiggae) and japchae (korean glass noodles). The banchan (side dishes) are amazing and the staff is very diligent in coming around and refilling any empty plates. Probably the best KBBQ experience you can get in Vancouver.
