The pork adobo served in purple yam pandesal was definitely the standout dish. I tried the adobo and was absolutely amazed by how delicious it was.
This restaurant is relatively new and located in the cellar of Park Place. They serve scratch-made Philippine and Western dishes. I recently had the Orient Express for lunch, which was supposed to include two eggs, choice of meat, garlic fried rice, and fruit according to the menu description. However, my order took a while to come out (about 25 minutes) and when it did, it was served with plain rice instead of garlic fried rice and no fruit. Despite this mishap, I still enjoyed my meal and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and hospitable. They apologized for the wait, gave me complimentary chocolates, and even offered extra rice for free. Although there were some issues with the service, I recommend giving this place a try as it is still new. The Orient Express dish had two eggs, tocino (Philippine bacon), and was served with plain rice instead of garlic fried rice and fruits. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the tocino was the highlight of the meal, being juicy and flavorful with a sweet glaze. Overall, I would rate my experience as 3.5 out of 5 and recommend checking out this restaurant.
