Hanoi Bistro - Vancouver

I have been here several times now when I'm craving phoThis place is okay but it's really the best by far in North van (that's not saying much).

We live very close by to this restaurant and have been coming for yearsYes, it is very small and there is limited seating.

-fresh, homemade dishes -cap menu items (I think a meal is too cheap in this city) -friendly workers willing to help -Nice location (near transit, parking and sunset Beach/English bay) while I preferred it when their restaurant was in the north...short for a fast eating, I often make trips to davie just to eat here. in the rule they go with my friend or friends, but also great for a snack on their own faust. the owners are friendly and actually vietnamesian (in contrast to many Asian restaurants) and have a lot of authentic dishes on the menu with the supplement of some other interesting objects (kangaroo). I usually go with a meat soup (pho) and grilled pork substitute sandwich (bahn mi). the ingredients are always beautiful and fresh (love the extra jalapenos for the suppe), and the pho is produced daily by scratches. I have tried to revise the pho home, but without so much luck: p I don't know what they do to get the light sweet in the broth, but whatever it works. as another additional bonus is the specially designed tee he serves, delicious. have not been able to find out which ingredients are going into them, but it is specially made for the restaurant. obviously I am not a vegetarian, but they have many vegetarian options. just look at the menu and ask the friendly staff! excellent restaurant overall if they are looking to taste some amazing Vietnamese cuisine!

Love goes to hanoi bistro on davie st. we usually go to lunch and have always satisfied ourselves with the delicious food and the cleanliness of the restaurator as well as the ease of the entire staff. they offer a discount for lunch...for doctors and nurses (with their proofs), but they are already a decent price. the big chicken limongrass pho is a lot to share. I am one for cleanliness, and the cooking area is open to everyone to see how they go to their sitting places. no fatty food, sticky tables or dirty floors. only good food.
