Fresh Tastemade Soup Zone - Vancouver

I had the Rigatoni Bolognese and stuffed mushrooms, and they were absolutely delicious! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place sooner, as I've enjoyed their food many times before. The Pesto Pizza is outstanding, and the Nonnos Special sandwich is incredibly tasty. It's a small operation, but they run it with so much love and dedication. Lisa, the server, is an absolute gem! I highly recommend trying it out.

A hidden jewel in La Mesa. A real culinary experience that feels like you're with the family. Don't hurry. Not loud. And really enjoyable! You can play Frank Sinatra and enjoy some of their great wines and homemade Italian dishes. The Alfredo is the BEST and the specials are unique and to order. Fresh and delicious! Be friendly and patient when you come here, because this is the mood. I'm so glad I found this place!

We visited Nonno's with the family and had a lovely experience. The Steak Sinatra and bruschetta were delightful. We also enjoyed the Dean Martin cocktail (see picture below). However, we wouldn't recommend the chicken piccata.

The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional! I will certainly make it a priority to visit again the next time I'm in the LA Mesa area!

Great find. Small, long standing, unassuming, family owned Italian restaurant. Great service, excellent food, all freshly made in house. The place is small though with very few tables, so best to call ahead and reserve a table. By the way...I'm born and raised in Brooklyn. This is good Italian food!!!
