Chewie's Chicken Biscuits - Vancouver

Was there on weekday. not busy. only 2 partys eat and a person waiting for takeout. looks like they have some problems in the kitchen and most orders are delayed this day. I ordered fried chicken on waffel. wait a bit. but eating is good. can't stop all waffels. next time can come back for the fried chicken. the place is clean and comfortable. the personal is friendly and attentive. I refilled my water a few times. bye, they don't sell alcohol.

I come here to satisfy my craving for brilliant fried chicken. If I had a bigger appetite I'd get a sun brunch dish. But I am totally satisfied with chicken and a biscuit. You wait for your order because it's freshly made, so crispy but not greasy I've taken home their amazing pastries as well. A fun place to impress visitors for brunch

While the food is presented beautifully, I don’t think it’s worth it’s really steep price. My 32$ meal consisted of a cup of orange juice, a pretty nice chicken burger (the sandwiches are for sure the best), and a small side of fries. 4$ for a very small cup of orange juice seems real off. Personally I am a spice fiend but there is paprika, and quite a bit of it on everything you order, so ensure to ask for no paprika if you do not like spice. My friends eggs Benedict was lack lustre due to the runny whites and the temperature. I’ve been here a few times and I’m sure I’ll return, but it seems like it’s gone down hill a bit since my first visit. The service though is great and the kitchen are clearly hard at work as you can see it from the front of house.

Went here again for a birthday breakfast. Decided to try the chicken waffles instead of the eggs benny, and I was NOT disappointed. The waffle is one of the best I ever had, and of course the chicken is AMAZING. I have changed my mind and I think Chewie's is better than Jam cafe. It is a little more expensive, but 100% worth it. The staff is so so nice and on a whim, we decided to try their donuts on our way out. Again I was super impressed, the plain donut is not too sweet and it's a little bready which I LOVE. Would 100% recommend but go early because it gets busy!! Looking forward to the summer when the patio is open because it's gorgeous back there. Thank you Chewie's!!
