Autostrada Osteria - Vancouver

We had dinner here on a warm midweek evening in July. The service was friendly attentive (almost too attentive) and the food was very good.

We booked a reservation here last minute as we have eaten at the main st location and really enjoyed it.The dinner this evening was exceptional. Our waiter was very personable, provided great recommendations, and was always there just when you needed him without being over bearing. Amazing service all around.The drinks were great, and the food was incredible. The lasagna is the best I’ve ever had.Do not skip the tiramisu as it is delicious as well.All in all 5 stars all around. The service and food really set this place apart. We will absolutely be back.

Literally my new favourite restaurant. We enjoyed an outstanding meal (mushroom risotto, steelhead trout) and loved the atmosphere unpretentious but every detail is considered. Our server Chris was such a pleasure.

Amazing experience! The food was so fresh. They had a featured salad that was out of this world. What really took the experience above your typical dining experience was our waiter, Scott ! He was super patient with explaining the menu and giving recommendations. Customer service was impeccable. Keep up the great work

I used to love this restaurant, but after two recent visits I am less enamoured than before. The pasta was not that great--the stuffed pasta filling (veal and something else) was gooey; the rigatoni alla norma was heavy; the bolognese average. The salad had potential, but the cucumbers were hard. Wine pours are miserly, to say the least; there is something about a 19 dollar skimpy glass of wine that is offputting. Our lovely waiter didn't feel it necessary to ask how the meal was, so we didn't offer feedback at the time, but you would think that half-eaten plates were a sign that would be easily read. That said, it's a beautiful space and nice and lively.
