Silver Star Saloon - Vancouver

We were in town for a few days and wanted to blow off steam. We had so much fun singing karaoke. Nobody judged us for terrible voices. We'll go back next time. Service: 5/5

The service was amazing as far as I came and wanted to buy something, but if I needed help, because strange men talked to me or when I was too drunk and needed water, the lady with the big earrings didn't want to help me because I "signaled them wrong" and she didn't help me the rest of the night with water and helped everyone else for what reason? A bartender should help someone, whether they like someone or not, because they need help, not to make tips. It was disgusting. I will never come back to this bar because she and I will spread the text likeword over this bar. As a future bartender, I will never treat people with this degree of disregard, whether it is business or not. She was beautiful, but her accompaniment as a bartender could use help. Maybe my business doesn't matter, but you do. She needs to learn how to treat people with RESPECT. And this is from a bartender in training. Everyone loves them as a bartender in training, but I will never work here, let alone train after this bar for this reason. Know your worth ladies when you go. It is not and she will not protect you if you are not regular. But the food was delicious and I praise the kitchen staff. Absolutely amazing, the only reason I give more than one star.

Except if you love karaoke, stay clear of this joint. Otherwise it is great in every way.

Good food and drinks. Spacious!!!! Service was great.Had a Birthday gathering for my daughter there. Great time! The staff was accommodating.. even on a busy pool night.
