I had brisket a hot link and ribs. My sides were text to style cream, corn and ranch beans. The creamed corn was probably the best I've ever had. Everything else had really good flavor the brisket was moist. The hot link was good and the ribs were good. I will definitely come back say.
Just all-around amazing! Friendly service, clean and welcoming atmosphere. 3min wait on food, great service, and the staff is very helpful and quick. Food not only looks amazing but is finger licking good even bought and extra bottle of there BBQ sauce to take back to Pensacola, Fl. It will be well worth the stop. I have eaten at Soulman's BBQ at several different locations and have never been disappointed with the delicious food they are offering. Unfortunately, I had a slightly bad experience at the VAN, TX location recently. I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs and chicken. The brisket was delicious! The ribs were OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. But when I pulled the chicken breast away from the wing, 25% of the chicken was RAW. It was pink and glossy. I showed this to the sales clerk and she didn't realize what was happening and consulted her supervisor. After that, the supervisor agreed with me and offered me another meat in place of the chicken. I accepted a few more of the ribs in its place. He was very nice and understood my concern's about the under- cooked chicken. Overall, I want to give them 4 stars, but I will give them 3. Simply because the brisket and ribs were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS TO THE 3Rd DEGREE! But unfortunately the chicken was raw. Raw chicken should be thrown out and should never be served to customer's due to the fact that they could get ill from consuming it. I would still order food from this restaurant in the future. But I wouldn't order the chicken until they figure out how to put a thermometer inside of it, next to the bone, in order to get a 195 reading on the thermometer.
Always a Great atmosphere when I stop here. Mr. George was doing his Thang on the cutting board getting everybody's meats. Meanwhile, Madison hooked those 2 choices of sides up for you. Then comes the tough decision on what size Banana pudding to get. The smaller one just gonna make you ?. For those Dinning In, hopefully you saved some room for some.Soft serve ice cream ? on a cone.
