Hugo's - VALLEY VILLAGE

There is a reason why some restaurants are overlasting others. Hugos has been on my list for a while, first to see why the Taco stand catty corner in the restaurant always swung with activity. These tacos must be really good. I never did it, but the restaurant first tried. Mathew, our server, was professional and didn't **** us at all and did a great job. Our food was fantastic, with the salmon tacos and quinoa salad. The salad was loaded with substance and the salmon was perfectly cooked with a little crisp, without being dry. Wine flights were super fun and a great way to try the different options on the menu. Parking was fine, but if you have a large vehicle, it can be difficult in its amount. Overall, great restaurant in fact.

Great service and environment. This meal was pretty underwhelming. I just left and I am still hungry. The mimosa and bacon was the highlight. The French toast had no soul. No toppings , no hot syrup , powdered sugar or fruit sauce. I thought the orange and currents would be one top with some form of sauce but they were just sadly placed to the side for decoration. I didn?t eat 80% of the meal. Maybe we should have chosen a lunch or dinner item.

Great vegan options and super friendly staff!!! Molly and her staff at Hugos are absolutely delightful. I always have great, quick service there, even through the pandemic. Yesterday I tried the vegan Mac n cheese and it was delicious! Crispy onions with mushrooms and peas on top gave it so much flavor and texture. The latte was so big I had to take it home to finish it. I love the taco stand too but this is a great place for a relaxing lunch with great vibes.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Hugo's offers a variety of vegan options on their menu. The service we received for our group of 13 was excellent.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and it is definitely my favorite spot for brunch in the valley! They have a wide variety of gluten-free and vegan options. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is amazing and fast, and the atmosphere is cozy. I particularly enjoy the eggs Benedict on potato pancakes, which are super flavorful and filling.
