The food was also delicious - from more traditional Lime Soup and Turkey Pibil (looked dreadful but was delicious - we don't have too many black dishes in English cuisine) - to the child's burger..... Quality was same throughout and without a doubt exceptional. Our eldest (17 yrs) talked about it being a fine dining experience too as the waiter was so attentive but not invasive. Guacamole was made at the table and drinks were good and refreshing. We could have stayed all afternoon but needed to return to Tulum. We paid a similar amount for an exceptional meal as we would have paid for snacks on the beach....so excellent value. We felt really spoilt after this day out ... Mostly because of this lunch.
Situated in the town Square, a cooling retreat with a courtyard restaurant With our Mexican friends had a friendly and excellent meal Authentic Mayan food with an excellent egg flan for dessert Food served in interesting ways with interesting details
Two weeks ago my family and I had dinner at El Meson. Beautiful setting! Not impressed with my dinner. The inside of my pepper was actually cold. The breakfast was very good though. Will return in November.
What a beautiful delightful Spanish colonial courtyard. Food was great certainly the diabla dish made at the table. Good service just be mindful drinks, menu and food strictly served by different waiters.....a must.
While travelling back from Chichen Itza we stopped by in Valladolid and found this gem. The tortillas were loaded with delicious sauce and chicken meat and the salad was fresh and crispy. DO NOT eat here without trying the peach and pineapple drink as it was out of this world - homemade, refreshing and with a great flavour. Overall a great find in the generally non-tourist city of Valladolid.
