Carmine's Italian - Utah

Well… my family used to like this place but Not anymore! Our last visit wasn’t very pleasant at ALL! Staring from the waiter atmosphere so boring no music in an Italian restaurant? food was fine, but gave me the worst heartburn ️‍ if your looking for a nice relaxing dinner do not consider this place!! Just don’t waste your TIME and money.

Update 2022. So glad we came again! Got the lasagna again, I may try something else next time but it’s SO good I just had to have more! The lasagna was perfect! Helios was a great server as well. Lovely place, we'll be back for sure!!

First time ordering carmine's and sadly it was mostly a disappointment. The prosciutto and melon was overly covered in balsamic, the bolognese had no meat sauce, and the cannolis were the smallest cannolis I have Ever seen. The only thing ok was the seafood soup.

Lovely menu featuring all sorts of pizzas. Except, they don't do pizzas on a Sunday. Kind of reminded me of the Monty Python Cheese Shop sketch…

Great staff and the food was fabulous. Nice vegan and vegetarian options. Great house-made tomato sauce. Nice view of the mountains. Will be coming here again when back in Salt Lake City.
