That must be one of the best meat sandwiches I tried. it is so delicious and the best part is the portion generous. we ordered a sandwich de lomo, which is about but is great enough to feed people. we had. a satisfactory eating that we came back a second time.
We stayed here in the TripAdvisor reviews and it was not disappointed! the sandwiches are huge- definitiw sharing size and very cheap! we got the top that was a big chicken malic with ham, egg, cheese and salad and tomato and empanadas! we had enough left to be full from lunch and have a snack for later! the counter-personal was helpful and it was clearly a local midday place! definitely one of the best cheap eating I would even say the best eating in ushuaia!
Real value for money. a sandwich is enough for two. we had three times the suprema (broken chicken) when we were in ushuaia. comes with ham, cheese and egg plus salat and toms. fresh made to order in this family business. very fast service and cheap...prices also!
I spent three days in Ushuaia in the end of December This is an expensive place to visit. I typically paid pesos for each meal in restaurants along Av. San Martin, the main street of the town. Lomitos Martinica is an exception. It...is located near the end of San Martin, between Antártida Argentina and Yaganes, next to the Bamboo restaurant. It is easy to miss because the entrance is small. There is hardly any ambience to talk about. It is just a place to eat but the food is great and very affordable. Just give you an idea. A salad is pesos, empanadas pesos (the same as in a supermarket), porcíon de vacío from the grill is pesos pesos for a kilo pastas to pesos. And the sandwiches. Sándwich de lomo pesos, sandwich de suprema pesos. You can watch your sandwich being made while sipping beer at the counter in front of the grill. I had a Sándwich de lomo. It was a big piece of meat, top with eggs, grilled right in front of you. Then the vegs. All stuffed in a submarine bread. It was a full meal, it tasted great and it was HUGE! I am a lbs guy with good apatite but I could hardly finish it. I also tried their pasta in another meal and enjoyed it. If you want to save some money for the expensive boat tours of Ushuaia, I strongly recommend Martinica.
